A type 26003A flameproof made by several different manufacturers. The setting is the radioman's position on a TBM-3 "Avenger". The skin of the aircraft is seen at the left and the cable leads to an ART-13 transmitter.
Having the actual key was a big help in modeling it. It was salvaged from the aircraft graveyard at NAS Kahului (now OGG) in the late 40's.
